Daniel's Story

Hey! My  name is Daniel Thompson. I am battling terminal cancer. I was diagnosed in 2017 with Undifferentiated Pleomorphic Sarcoma. I underwent 2 surgeries: palatectomy, maxillectomy, and removal of pterygoid plate. Following the surgeries, I had 6 weeks of radiation treatment. For 5 years I was presumably cancer free. Then, in August of 2022 I had a surgery to remove necrotic bone caused by the radiation. However, upon operation, what was initially thought to be necrotic bone was more cancer. The surgeon was unable to remove all of the tumors. I spent 10 days in the hospital, had a PICC line for 8 weeks, and a feeding tube for 9 weeks. Since August I have seen 6 different oncologists and have had more than a dozen scans. The latest scans indicate 2 remaining tumors: a 3.9cm and 0.67cm. They are considered inoperable. Due to the rarity of my cancer, I have refused the traditional treatment currently and have elected to undergo integrative alternative treatments. Hopefully, these treatments are more effective for my cancer. Your prayers and support are most appreciated.

Thank you for joining me on my cancer journey!

God Bless,

Daniel
